Join Our Team: Become a part of the dynamic and results-oriented Product and Systems Engineering (PSE) Organization within the Heterogeneously Integrated Group (HIG) at Micron. As a Sr. Engineer for Lab Operation will be accountable on the optimization on lab operation including TAT, each interval cycle time, cost effectiveness for budget planning. you are accountable to drive overall budget for HIG PSE such as capital planning, operating expense as well as lab test flow optimization process.  

Responsibilities:

Optimization on lab operation

1. Turnaround Time (TAT) and Cycle time for Rel Ops

• Establish a dashboard to monitor WIP lots for PSE rel ops

• Establish the BKM for lab operation

• Drive automation project for Rel ops

Budget Planning and dashboard monitoring

1. Capital (CAPEX and OCAP) planning

• Establish and monitor monthly actual vs forecast budget for CAPEX, OCAP and OPEX.

• Initiate a project or assessment for additional budget required for critical engineering requirements for business operation.

• Collaborate with GEL for justification on new capital expenditures, and identify opportunities for capital optimization.

• Reconcile GEL Finance report for PSE capital budget.

2. Operating Expense (OPEX)

• Consolidate purchase requirements and monitor overall actual spending vs forecast.

• Establish standard on the commodity code for operating expense.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical preferred).

• At least 3 years of experience in hardware/PCB design/debug with hands-on experience in ATE, wafer probe, or semiconductor test equipment.

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills in cross-functional setups.

• Demonstrated ability to be goal-oriented and make decisions in complex situations.
