You will manage a dedicated team, partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders, and drive best-in-class outcomes across cost, supply, risk, and supplier performance. This role requires strong strategic thinking, commercial expertise, and people leadership within a global manufacturing environment.\n\n### \n\n## Build and Execute Strategic Sourcing and Category Management Plan for Assigned Categories\n\n * Develop and execute holistic category strategies based on business needs, market dynamics, supplier capabilities, and total cost of ownership (TCOO).\n * Identify and deliver cost savings through category-specific levers, process improvements, and sourcing initiatives.\n * Define and monitor category targets, including cost, compliance, risk, quality, and supplier performance.\n * Ensure effective implementation of sourcing strategies and contract compliance across sites.\n * Maintain supplier segmentation and build strong partnerships with strategic suppliers.\n * Communicate category performance, savings, and market insights to the AT Capital Director.\n * Support AT Capital leadership in building integrated, long-term procurement strategies.\n\n\n\nBuild an Effective Team\n\n * Build, lead, and develop a high-performing procurement team.\n * Set clear roles, performance expectations, and development goals for direct reports.\n * Provide regular coaching, mentoring, and constructive performance feedback.\n * Drive accountability, remove obstacles, and enable continuous improvement.\n * Support talent development, succession planning, and leadership growth within the team.\n * Lead special projects and cross-functional initiatives as required.\n\n\n\nCollaborate with Stakeholders to Deliver Strategic Solutions\n\n * Act as a trusted business partner to internal stakeholders by delivering customer-focused procurement solutions.\n * Maintain close engagement with business partners to anticipate and address category needs.\n * Manage complex stakeholder relationships and resolve conflicts effectively.\n * Advise senior and executive management on strategic category-related decisions.\n * Maintain strong relationships with supplier senior leadership to drive alignment and long-term value.\n\n\n\nInterface with Customers, Procurement Business Partners, and Suppliers on Category Strategies\n\n * Ensure customer category requirements met\n * Communicate strategic sourcing goals, category management plans, initiatives and targets to customers\n * Maintain relationships with supplier senior executives\n * Initiate and sustain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders\n\n\n\nEnsure a Safe, Compliant, and Ethical Work Environment\n\n * Maintain knowledge of and apply company safety, labor, and ethics policies\n * Communicate requirements and expectations to leaders and external stakeholders\n * Ensure execution of mandatory training for organization\n * Identify and resolve and / or report potential safety, security, and labor issues\n\n\n\nCandidate Profile:\n\nRequired\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree or above.\n * Minimum 10 years of experience in strategic procurement and/or semiconductor equipment-related roles.\n * At least 3 years of people leadership experience.\n * Proven ability to develop and execute category strategies with strong TCOO outcomes.\n * Demonstrated success in global supplier and stakeholder relationship management.\n * Strong analytical, decision-making, and business acumen.\n * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage at all levels of the organization.\n\n\n\nPreferred\n\n * Experience in semiconductor manufacturing, particularly Assembly \u0026 Test.\n * Background in semiconductor memory or related industries.\n * Familiarity with advanced packaging and test technologies.\n * Consistent track record in driving total cost of ownership, executing global category strategies, and developing new supply sources.\n\n\n\nJob Profile(s):\n\nPurchasing Manager 2\n\nRelocation level: (TBD)\n\nBefore Getting Started \nPlease review Micron\u2019s Internal Job Application Policy on your regional PeopleNow Career Opportunities page before searching and applying for jobs.
