Sr Quality Engineer

Implement testing, inspection, and auditing processes to maintain quality standards. Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product and service quality. Architect and implement robust, highly scalable test automation frameworks to support comprehensive testing needs. Monitor system performance, proactively troubleshoot issues, and drive root cause analysis to resolution. Conduct in-depth requirement analysis to assess testability and identify potential risks early in the product development cycle. Plan and execute test strategies, including detailed test plans and scripts, for each release to ensure product quality. Lead defect management, including tracking, triaging, and driving resolutions during user acceptance testing. Execute automated test scripts using advanced automation tools, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in testing processes. Perform exploratory, usability, and functional testing to uncover edge cases and improve the user experience. 3+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience. Perform functional testing, integration testing, performance testing & end-to-end testing to our products Design, develop and maintain automation test cases, writing test report Follow up SOP, work with SRE and developer teams to do live issue triage, RCA investigation to keep high site availability and win customers back Continuous improvement on testing efficiency by leveraging new testing techniques, tools and AI Collaborate with business, product and developers located in multi locations to shape our payment products and win together Excellent understanding of computer science fundamentals, algorithms and data structures Understand SDLC, experience with large scale distributed software system testing Excellent understanding of backend/middleware like restful, GRPC, Redis, RabbitMQ etc, experience with database, rational (Oracle, MySQL) or NoSQL Strong coding capability with Python/Java, familiar with pytest/testNG/postman/Playwright/Selenium BS/MS in CS or related field Minimal 5 years working experience Motivated & self-driven Familiar with payment, checkout, onboarding, compliance, risk domains Hands on experience using Jira/confluence or similar doc tools, experience on using test management tools like testrail, browserstack. Organized, think methodologically when encountering problems, independently get things done Innovative, creative, think outside of the box Quickly exploring options Fail fast mentality and good learning capability
