Staff Engineer (Digital Workplace - Communications & Collaboration)

You will be leading the design of a suite of communications and collaboration tools within the organisation. You must have a good understanding of IT system, and in-depth knowledge of the latest digital workplace technologies and platforms. • Design, build and implement platforms and tools for messaging and collaboration to enable seamless communication and knowledge sharing across the organisation.
• Review and identify areas for improvement through automation to optimize the messaging and collaboration platforms in order to ensure performance, scalability and resiliency.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure security and compliance of the platforms and tools are in accordance with company policies and regulations
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members and conduct workshops to increase adoption and proficiency of digital workplace tools among users.

• Degree in Computer Science or Electronic/Electrical Engineering, with 5-6 years of relevant working experience
• Familiar with digital workplace technologies such as Mattermost, MS Teams/Skype and live-streaming platforms  
• Software experience, with skills in scripting & programming languages like Python, PowerShell/Linux shell scripts, etc  
• Knowledge in IT Infrastructure (i.e. IT Networks, Client and Communications)
• Experience with build automation tools like Git CI/CD, Kubernetes & Docker
• Good analytical skills in problem-solving and recommend areas of improvement

• Knowledge in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)
• Experience with search and analytics engine such as Elasticsearch & Kibana
