As a global team member residing in your current site/geography, you will represent all facility design standard alignment, construction project management, O\u0026M BKM alignment initiatives. \n\nYou will also support the Global Facilities Central Engineering Team, Construction Team , Line Planning Team and O\u0026M Team in providing critical design standard alignment, supplier quality improvement, operational and maintenance input and support construction projects.\n\nCritical metrics include construction project management, schedule, cost control, safety index, and facilities system reliability improvement program in eliminating production events that minimize lost moves and scrap.\n\nResponsibilities and tasks:\n\n\u200b\n\nProject\n\n * Design and construction of regional green field project with alignment to global standards and collaboration with central sustainability, cost, construction and line planning team.\n * Engineering support for site projects, Alpha to Beta technology transfer and sustainability projects\n * Review and approve site capacity expansion and sustainability capex\n * Review priority and make business driven decision on Facilities Reliability Improvement project capex\n\n\n\nReliability\n\n * Engineering support for site system improvement projects (System Reliability Improvements, Quality Improvement and Equipment EOL replacements)\n * Oversee regional efforts and identify opportunities to align strategic program (eg BCP, Critical spec, Quality Defense line)\n * Engineering support for major SIPP review\n * Regional events lesson learnt sharing and influence of global standards development.\n\n\n\nCommunication\n\n * Single point of contact for regional sites and GFC central teams\n * Provide alignment on metrics reporting\n\n\n\nEngineering, O\u0026M and Others\n\n * Expert understanding of each sites Facility I\u0026C / SCADA / IOT / TGM systems operational and maintenance capabilities in order to provide critical support\n * In addition to your global I\u0026C engineering role you will also provide site/regional support for global facility initiatives at your location/region\n * Technically lead a global cross functional team focused on project, design, construction, operational excellence with the site I\u0026C systems engineers\n * Provide support to all sites including on site presence for construction project and critical I\u0026C failures of Facility systems.\n * Actively involved in TPM implementation and alignment along with ongoing support for I\u0026C systems\n * Drive improvement in the quality of our utilities through variation reduction (SPC).\n * Drive the alignment for common methodologies including SPC, conformance, SIPP\u2019s, MOC and 8D problem solving throughout the network for I\u0026C systems\n * Identify and deploy cost reduction efforts while optimizing and reducing energy usage for I\u0026C systems throughout the network\n * Assess and insure effective and consistent PM and predictive maintenance programs, procedures and checklists across the network\n * Regular communication with the site engineering and O\u0026M teams on status and performance\n * Analyze and benchmark equipment performance.\n * Identify and develop training and certification programs that support global and site efforts\n * Develop appropriate metrics to drive improvement (On time PM\u2019s, MTTF, MTTR etc.)\n * Send out regular updates with key items of focus and initiatives.\n * You will review FIPA/METS events and provide recommendations to drive the reduction of critical I\u0026C impact events.\n * Collaborate with the construction / engineering team to insure alignment on projects\n * Support the network effort to implement, monitor and drive continuous improvement for success of Micron\u2019s Sustainability programs in alignment with the long-term Sustainability strategy\n * Benchmark system performance and drive Best-In-Class approach (BICs) across network\n * In depth review of site sustainability projects and sustainability data monitoring to support site\u2019s and company\u2019s sustainability targets.\n * Provide technical advice and support to overcome challenges and roadblocks in project planning \u0026 execution\n * Support sustainability projects achievement data acquisition and validation in central tracking depository.\n\n\n\nRequirements:\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic or Mechanical discipline or equivalent work experience\n * Excellent analytical and good decision making skills\n * Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization\n * Excellent teamwork and collaboration with other groups, internally and externally\n * Proven ability to solve problems across multi-functional and multi-cultural groups within and outside facilities\n * Proven ability to multi-task and lead team to meet challenging deadlines and goals\n * Proven ability to continuously improve systems and processes\n * Ability to foster strong relationships from cross-functional and multi-cultural
