Because doing so can fuel the very innovation we are pursuing.\n\nMain Responsibilities\n\nProcess Development \u0026 Margin Improvement\n\n * Develop and optimize unit wet processes to meet yield and quality requirements of advanced NAND part types. \n\n\n * Quantify benefits of innovative process and/or equipment solutions to enable early experimentation and adoption for process margin improvement. \n\n\n * Initiate and manage experiments to widen process margins and validate manufacturability of next\u2011node solutions. \n\n\n\nCross\u2011functional Integration \u0026 Troubleshooting\n\n * Integrate and troubleshoot processes as part of cross\u2011functional teams driving yield and quality improvement. \n\n\n * Participate with Boise TD peers on technology choices for upcoming nodes and translate future device needs into clear process requirements. \n\n\n * Identify disruptive processes early and work with manufacturing and TD partners to identify viable paths forward. \n\n\n\nInnovation / IP / Supplier Engagement\n\n * Support process development activities including fundamental research, hardware evaluations, and testing for novel applications; contribute to IP generation where applicable. \n\n\n * Participate in supplier engagement workstreams supporting breakthrough solutions. \n\n\n\nMonitoring, Control \u0026 Documentation (Governance)\n\n * Identify process simplification opportunities and support cross\u2011functional implementation. \n\n\n * Incorporate best\u2011known manufacturing methods into early development of upcoming nodes. \n\n\n * Design and implement process monitoring and control methodologies within assigned scope; maintain clear experiment records and technical reporting. \n\n\n * Communicate and collaborate locally and globally; strict adherence to Micron IP protection policy is required. \n\n\n\nOther Responsibilities \n\n * Integrate AI\u2011assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, and analysis rigor, using sound judgment and complying with organizational standards and legal/IP requirements. \n\n\n * Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying, testing, and sharing AI\u2011enabled enhancements within one\u2019s scope of work. \n\n\n\nAI Responsibilities:\n\n * Integrates AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness, exercising sound judgment and complying with organizational standards and legal requirements.\n * Contributes to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, testing, and sharing AI-enabled enhancements within one\u2019s scope of work.\n\n \n\n\nCandidate Profile\n\nMinimum Required Qualifications / Experience\n\n * PhD, or Master\u2019s \u22653 yrs, or Bachelor\u2019s \u22655 yrs of relevant experience in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or related field \n\n\n * Strong foundation in chemistry, chemical kinetics, thermodynamics, and mass transport. \n\n \n\n\nMust\u2011have Technical Skills\n\n * DOE / SPC and data analysis systems (e.g., Y3) to analyze experimental outcomes. \n\n\n * Working knowledge of memory process flow (planar + vertical NAND context). \n\n \n\n\nMust\u2011have Soft Skills\n\n * Cross\u2011functional collaboration, concise communication, and ability to prioritize in a dynamic environment. \n\n \n\n\nAI Requirements\n\n * Ability to apply baseline digital fluency and role appropriate AI literacy to use AI enabled tools responsibly and effectively for research, analysis, content creation, problem solving, operational tasks, and achieving business outcomes.\n\n \n\n\nEmbody Micron\u2019s Core Values: \n\nPeople \u2013 Diversity of thought to propel technology leadership - Ideas can come from anywhere\n\nInnovation \u2013 Challenge and disrupt the status quo \u2013 fail fast and learn faster, optimize with Artificial Intelligence solutions\n\nTenacity \u2013 Own the problem to closure through a first principles approach\n\nCollaboration \u2013 Partner with Product and Manufacturing to deliver end-to-end technology solutions\n\nCustomer Focus \u2013 Powering Micron\u2019s Storage products through industry-leading technology\n\nSpeed \u2013 Moving fast on what matters, without compromising quality \n\n\nAbout Micron Technology, Inc.\n\nWe are an industry leader in innovative memory and storage solutions transforming how the world uses information to enrich life for all.
