ID:\n\nJR94243 Staff HBM Component Validation Engineer\n\nOur vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for all.\n\nMicron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever.\n\nAbout the Role \nAs Staff Engineer in Micron\u2019s High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) Component Validation team, you will contribute as Subject Matter Expert (SME) and contribute to define new standards on validation development for advanced HBM products and ensure stable, scalable validation testing infrastructure with zero code-related escapes across MBIST, Native test modes and high speed memory validation. \nYou own optimizing test flows, and lead technical problem solving for next generation HBM products. This role offers opportunities to learn advanced validation techniques, drive and deliver product readiness, technology solutions and innovations, and grow into technical leadership roles.\n\nResponsibilities\n\n * Test program development SME:\n * Drive and develop and maintain test programs for HBM component validation\n * Deliver timely test program releases aligned with validation milestones and drive code quality, reviews, and release best-practices\n * Drive test time optimization and parallelism improvements\n * Drive test stability and repeatability across sites and equipment\n * Drive test program debug on MBIST and native mode testers\n * Coach and develop technical growth of other engineers in validation approaches, platform nuances, simulation methodology, and reporting standards.\n * Test Infrastructure:\n * Drive test equipment qualification and re\u2011qualification\n * Drive in hardware readiness: handler, socket, loadboard, and probe card setup.\n * Perform validation capacity forecasting based on product ramps and coverage needs\n * Owns validation platform health, availability and uptime.\n * Other responsibilities may include (and not limited to):\n * Define/implement new standards for continuous improvement in test program development and validation test infrastructure.\n * Validating high-speed I/O and assist with eye diagram and signal integrity checks.\n * Maintaining documentation in Confluence/Jira and version control in Git/Perforce.\n * Drive root cause analysis sessions and corrective action closure.\n * Drive/ collaborate across Component Validation team and with cross-functional teams for design validation, execution, electrical failure analysis, lab support and attend technical meetings.\n\n\n\nMinimum Qualifications\n\n * Bachelor/Master\u2019s degree in Electrical \u0026 Electronic or Computer Engineering (or related) with 5+ years relevant experience in semiconductor product engineering (DRAM/HBM preferred) \n * 5+ years hands-on test pattern and code development experience using C/C++, Python on ATE (Teradyne, Advantest etc) and familiarity with APG (Algorithmic Pattern Generator). \n * 5+ years technical experience as Product Development Engineering lead.\n * Demonstrated technical work experience implementing DFT/ functional testing (loopback, MBIST, scan etc) and relevant knowledge in Computer Architecture/DRAM concepts and flows.
