You will work hands\u2011on with large\u2011scale data analysis, electrical failure analysis, and cross\u2011functional teams to ensure robust product reliability and prevent escapes to customers.\n\nThis role offers deep technical ownership at the intersection of device physics, circuits, process technology, and product engineering, with strong visibility across development and manufacturing organizations.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Define and implement NAND Flash reliability test flows to assess product reliability performance and prevent extrinsic/intrinsic reliability escapes.\n * Perform high\u2011volume statistical data analysis to evaluate NAND DPM/ intrinsic reliability risks and trends.\n * Drive electrical failure analysis, including advance characterization, to identify root causes and solution spaces.\n * Develop short\u2011term countermeasures such as targeted stresses and screens, applying knowledge of digital/analog circuits, device physics, and process engineering.\n * Qualify the product with innovative control measures to provide best in Class DPM and Cell reliability.\n * Collaborate closely with Fab, NAND Technology, NAND Design, Product Development, System Development, and Quality/Reliability teams to develop solutions and enable shipment of high\u2011quality end products.\n * Integrates AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness, exercising sound judgment and complying with organizational standards and legal requirements.\n * Contributes to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, testing, and sharing AI-enabled enhancements within one\u2019s scope of work.\n * Ability to apply baseline digital fluency and role\u2011appropriate AI literacy to use AI\u2011enabled tools responsibly and effectively for research, analysis, content creation, problem\u2011solving, operational tasks, and achieving business outcomes.\n * Support customer inquiries and provide technical insights related to product reliability.\n * Mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.\n * Drive strategic initiatives to enhance the overall reliability program and influence the direction of future product development.\n\n\n\nQualifications And Skills: \n\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree with \u003e 7 years or Master\u2019s degree with \u003e 5 years or PhD with \u003e 2 years of relevant experience in Electrical Engineering or related field\n * Experience in Semiconductor Reliability, NAND Technology, and Electrical Failure Analysis.\n * In depth background in NAND Design, Device Physics, Circuits, Process, Test, Validation.\n * Strong statistical analysis, communication, and problem\u2011solving skills.\n * Experience in leading cross functional projects and mentoring junior engineers.\n * Experience with application of AI tools, LLMs , data analysis tools (e.g., Python, JMP, Tableau).\n * Strong analytical and problem\u2011solving skills.\n * Team player and self driver.\n\n\n\nJob Profile(s):\n\nProduct Development Engineer 4\n\nRelocation level: (TBD)\n\nBefore Getting Started \nPlease review Micron\u2019s Internal Job Application Policy on your regional PeopleNow Career Opportunities page before searching and applying for jobs.
