You will act as a subject\u2011matter advisor, partnering closely with People Organization leaders, Finance, Tax, Legal, and third\u2011party service providers to enable business objectives through compliant, cost\u2011effective, and employee\u2011centric mobility solutions.\n\nYou will independently manage complex mobility cases, driving operational excellence, ensuring compliance with regulatory and tax requirements, and contributing to regional and global mobility strategy and process improvements. You will also actively engage with external mobility networks to stay ahead of industry trends.\n\nMain Responsibilities\n\n * Independently manage assigned components of the company\u2019s mobility program, including planning, execution, communication, assessment, and continuous operational optimization to meet business and talent objectives.\n * Serve as a Talent Mobility advisor, providing consultative guidance on relocation and assignment solutions to People Organization partners and business stakeholders.\n * Act as the point of contact for Micron\u2019s contracted Relocation Management Company (RMC) regional office, strong partnerships, service delivery excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.\n * Collaborate with cross\u2011functional partners (People Ops, Finance, Tax, Legal, Payroll) to ensure compliance with immigration, tax, employment, and regulatory requirements.\n * Coordinate and monitor mobility budgets, forecasts, and expense management, supporting financial reporting, audits, and governance reviews.\n * Proactively identify operational issues and risks, and design creative, practical solutions to enable business execution while maintaining compliance and policy integrity.\n * Contribute to regional and global mobility initiatives aimed at standardization, simplification, and service delivery optimization.\n * Maintain an up\u2011to\u2011date forecast of mobility demand, supporting capacity planning and financial accuracy.\n\n\n\nOther Responsibilities\n\n * Partner with suppliers and service providers to support employees and families in effectively utilizing relocation and assignment benefits.\n * Participate in internal and external audits, data reviews, and financial tracking related to mobility programs.\n * Provide guidance, coaching, and day\u2011to\u2011day support to less experienced mobility team members, as appropriate.\n * Represent Micron in professional mobility networks and industry forums to stay current with evolving practices, regulatory changes, and market trends.\n * Contribute to documentation, communications, and change management efforts related to new or updated mobility programs, policies, or tools.\n * Support global and regional People Organization initiatives, as required.\n * Integrates AI assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness, exercising sound judgment and complying with organizational standards and legal requirements.\n * Contributes to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, testing, and sharing AI enabled enhancements within one\u2019s scope of work.\n\n\n\nCandidate Profile\n\nMinimum Qualifications\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree in Human Resources, Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.\n * 7+ years of professional experience in Global Mobility.\n\n\n\nMust\u2011Have Technical Skills\n\n * Solid understanding of international relocation and assignment program structures, mobility policies, and industry best practices.\n * Working knowledge of tax, immigration, and compliance considerations related to international mobility.\n * Experience partnering with Relocation Management Companies (RMCs) or external mobility vendors.\n * Strong process and operational mindset, with experience in program execution and optimization.\n\n\n\nMust\u2011Have Soft Skills\n\n * Strong stakeholder management and consultative communication skills, with the ability to influence without authority.\n * Ability to work effectively in a fast\u2011paced, globally distributed, and culturally diverse environment.\n * Sound judgment and problem\u2011solving skills to navigate complex, ambiguous, or sensitive mobility situations.\n * High level of personal accountability, attention to detail, and follow\u2011through.\n * Collaborative mindset with a strong customer and employee experience focus.\n\n\n\nHighly Preferred Skills\n\n * Experience in Human Resources, Global Assignments, Finance, Accounting, Tax, or Immigration is highly beneficial\n * Exposure to global or regional mobility governance models in large, matrixed organizations.\n * Experience supporting or participating in global mobility transformation or standardization initiatives.\n * Familiarity with mobility case management tools, vendor platforms, or HRIS integrations.\n * Prior experience providing informal leadership, mentoring, or knowledge\u2011sharing within a mobility or HR team.\n\n\n\nJob Profile(s):\n\nMobility Specialist 4\n\nRelocation level: (TBD)\n\nBefore Getting Started \nPlease review Micron\u2019s Internal Job Application Policy on your regional PeopleNow Career Opportunities page before searching and applying for jobs.
