This proliferation is being fueled by advances in memory and compute technologies. High bandwidth memory (HBM) is at the forefront of these innovations. Micron\u2019s Advanced Packaging Technology Development (APTD) is responsible to deliver package development for high performance memory products and transfer to manufacturing. \n\n\nYour responsibilities include but are not limited to developing and enabling deployment of assembly processes for advanced packaging technologies to meet performance, cost, manufacturability, quality, reliability and schedule requirements. You will have opportunity to work with peers and partners across organizations to coordinate the development and launch of new technologies and integration flows for solutions that drive the future. \n \n \nMain Responsibilities: \n\nProcess Development:\n\n * Develop and optimize assembly processes for advanced packaging technologies, including wafer-level packaging and die stacking Chip on Wafer, Chip to Wafer. \n\n\n\n\n * Focus on improving product quality, driving yield improvements, reducing costs, and enhancing productivity \n\n\n\n\n * Establish and improve process management projects to deliver technology node requirements \n\n\n\n\n \nEquipment and Materials:\n\n * Evaluate and promote new equipment and materials to enhance process capabilities \n\n\n\n\n * Set up process parameters for a variety of semiconductor equipment \n\n\n\n\n * Evaluate, promote, and plan for new equipment and materials \n\n\n\n\n \nQuality Improvement:\n\n * Ensure defense coverage through process, measurement, inspection, and testing \n\n\n\n\n * Establish correlations between defense mechanisms to identify improvement opportunities \n\n\n\n\n * Conduct continuous data analysis to establish advanced controls and identify improvement opportunities \n\n\n\n\n \nCollaboration and Coordination: \n\n * Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to build and execute technology development strategies aligned with organizational and business objectives \n\n\n\n\n * Work closely with various teams, including the Package Integration, Assembly Engineering, Front End Wafer Fab, Assembly/Test Engineering, Product Engineering, and Global Quality, to integrate manufacturing processes for optimal performance and quality control \n\n\n\n\n * Ensure smooth transition from new product development, qualification, small volume production to high volume production \n\n\n\n\n * Provide Process Of Record (POR) and Model Of Record (MOR) documentation for product transfer to production High Volume Manufacturing Fabrication facilities \n\n\n\n\nAI Responsibilities: \n\n * Integrates AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness, exercising sound judgment and complying with organizational standards and legal requirements. \n\n\n\n\n * Contributes to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, testing, and sharing AI-enabled enhancements within one\u2019s scope of work.\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\nCandidate Profile \nMinimum Required Qualifications:\n\n * PhD with \u22652 years, or Master\u2019s degree with \u22655 years, or Bachelor\u2019s degree with \u22657years of relevant experience in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.\n\n\n\n\n * Semiconductor process development or equipment evaluation in semiconductor, preferably in wafer bonding, die stacking and packaging field \n\n\n\n\nMust Have Technical Skills:\n\n * Proficiency in Python, R, SQL for statistical analysis, process modeling, and data analytics. \n\n\n\n\n * Experience with Visual Basic for automation and tool integration. \n\n\n\n\n * Familiarity with E3, FDC (Fault Detection and Classification), and RMS (Recipe Management System) for equipment and process control. \n\n\n\n\n * Strong data analytics capabilities to support SPC, DOE, defect analysis, and dashboarding. \n\n\n\n\n * Strong understanding of process flows, process interactions, and how process changes can affect yield, performance, and reliability \n\n\n\n\n \nMust Have Soft Skills:\n\n * Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.\n\n\n\n\n * Outstanding communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.\n\n\n\n\n * Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.\n\n\n\n\n * Ability to work cross-functionally with process, equipment, and reliability teams.\n\n\n\n\nAI Requirements: \n\n * Ability to apply baseline digital fluency and role\u2011appropriate AI literacy to use AI\u2011enabled tools responsibly and effectively for research, analysis, content creation, problem\u2011solving, operational tasks, and achieving business outcomes. \n\n\n\n\nEmbody Micron\u2019s core values: \n\n * People \u2013 Respect, develop, and empower others \n\n\n\n\n * Innovation \u2013 Drive continuous improvement and breakthrough thinking \n\n\n\n\n * Tenacity \u2013 Show grit and determination \n\n\n\n\n * Collaboration \u2013 Build trust and foster teamwork \n\n\n\n\n * Customer Focus \u2013 Deliver excellence and value \n\n\n\n\n * Speed \u2013 Act with purpose and set the pace\n\n\n\n\nAbout Micron Technology, Inc.\n\nWe are an industry leader in innovative memory and storage solutions transforming how the world uses information to enrich life for all.
