STAGE MANAGER

Job Description

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Stage Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of stage operations during performances and events. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of productions by coordinating with performers, technical teams, and venue staff. The Stage Manager will manage stage activities, supervise setup and breakdown processes, maintain production schedules, and ensure all performances are carried out safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise all stage operations before, during, and after performances or events.
• Liaise with performers, production teams, technical staff, and management to ensure smooth event execution.
• Prepare and manage production schedules, rehearsal schedules, and performance timelines.
• Coordinate stage setup, equipment placement, props, lighting, sound, and other production requirements.
• Ensure all stage activities are carried out in accordance with safety regulations and company procedures.
• Supervise stage crew and assign duties to ensure efficient operations.
• Conduct pre-show briefings and coordinate backstage activities throughout performances.
• Monitor performances to ensure all cues and production requirements are executed accurately.
• Resolve operational and technical issues promptly to minimise disruptions.
• Maintain inventory of stage equipment, props, and production materials.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and arrange repairs when necessary.
• Prepare operational reports and perform other duties assigned by management.
