STEM Instructor

Our esteemed client, an established Tech Academy, is searching for a STEM Instructor: 

Responsibilities:

• Teach and conduct coding, STEM, and technology-related projects for pre-school and primary school students. Ensure effective and efficient curriculum delivery, monitoring the quality of teaching, and providing feedback and support to staff as needed.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to develop and implement engaging teaching strategies that enhance student learning outcomes.
• Step in for teaching duties when required, including regular classes, holiday programs, and special events. Ensure lessons meet the expectations of students and parents.
• Design, prepare, and deliver lessons to teach foundational knowledge and techniques in coding, STEM, and technology, supporting learners understanding.
• Oversee and conduct training for AI, coding, and robotics-related competitions.
• Review and enhance current curriculum content in collaboration with internal or external partners.
• Keep up to date with new research, trends, and best practices in teaching and learning.
• Develop strong relationships with students and parents to understand their needs and ensure teaching quality meets expectations.
• Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure a unified approach to teaching and learning across Titan Tech Academy.

Requirements:

• Diploma or higher in Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Science, or a related field.
• Strong programming background with a positive attitude towards learning.
• Experience working with young children is a plus.
• Proficiency in teaching with Scratch and Python, including Scratch Interactive Programming and Python Series Programming for courseware development.
• Preferred experience in teaching or instruction, especially in AI, Coding, or Robotics.
• Knowledge of current STEM education trends and best practices is advantageous.
• Availability to work on weekends.

Additional Information:

• Working Days: 5 Days (Required to work on weekend and holidays)
• Location: Downtown
• Salary: Basic up to $5,500 + Variable Bonus
