Job Title: Operations Supervisor – Stores
A locally established aviation supply chain company with affiliates in 14 global locations, is looking for a dedicated and experienced person to oversee our stores and production operations. The chosen candidate as a supervisor, will be responsible to manage, organize, lead and control a diverse team of dedicated staff to ensure the company’s customer service obligations are fulfilled. The supervisor will require a strong organizational skill and assertiveness to lead and motivate the team.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage stores operations such as receiving, storing, issuing, recording and housekeeping, in accordance with the procedures prescribed in the Quality Procedures and Manual.
- Coordinate with the Inventory controller to ensure stocks are properly managed in order to maintain accuracy, minimise damage and loss of stock.
- Implement the essentials of the Company’s Quality Management System relating to stores.
- Train, develop and motivate stores personnel to ensure high level of productivity and performance.
- Ensure relevant compliance issues involving health, safety and protection of the environment.
Secondary Responsibility:
- Schedule and manage work orders for certain production activities that are related to stock and inventory movement.
Qualifications and Skills:
- At least Higher Nitec certificate
- Experience in stores and inventory management
- Good leadership and interpersonal skills, particularly in trouble shooting, problem-solving, conflict management and resolution.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and management.
Additional Requirements:
- Good overall physical health
- License to operate material handling equipment such as fork-lift and reach trucks
- Willingness to perform overtime work wherever necessary.
Salary and Remuneration will commensurate with qualification and experience.
