RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic marketing plans that align with Evonik's overall Animal Nutrition business objectives. This involves setting clear goals, identifying target markets, and determining the best approaches to reach those markets.

  • Pricing excellence: Maximize profitability and market competitiveness living up to Evonik platform and tools for EN Sirius Pricing and SN value based pricing strategy driven by precise & real time market intelligence.

  • Market Intelligence and Data Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to understand trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape assessment in the animal nutrition sector. Discovery business opportunities in untapped segments via data analysis and interpretation.

  • Leverage Brand Value: Strengthen Evonik's brand presence in the animal nutrition sector. This includes developing marketing communication strategies, managing promotional activities, ensuring consistent messaging across all channels.

  • New product launch: successful product introduction to the market with clear strategy including value proposition and positioning, storytelling and promotion plans based on comprehensive market analysis behind

  • Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, industry stakeholders, and partners. Engage in regular communication to understand their needs and gather feedback on products and services. Support customer events via developing themes and programs to create enhanced business impact.

  • Product portfolio management via Pricing Excellence: Value proposition and pricing based on the added value of our solutions & margin steering for the segment focusing on the CM1 generation.

  • Regionalized Product Development and Positioning: Collaborate with R&D and product management teams to develop innovative animal nutrition products. Ensure that these products are effectively positioned in the market to meet customer needs and differentiate from competitors.

  • Innovation and Trends: Keep abreast of emerging trends in animal nutrition, such as sustainability, health and wellness, and technological advancements. Identify opportunities for innovation and adaptation in Evonik's product offerings.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as supply chain, finance, and operations, to ensure alignment and support for marketing initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree qualified in a Marketing field, e.g. MI, market research & project management.

  • Minimum 5+ years marketing experience within the livestock industries essential, either as a marketing specialist or product management specialist.

  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns with strategic thinking mindset

  • Knowledge of the animal nutrition industry: The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of the animal nutrition industry, including the different types of animal feed, supplements, and additives.

  • Sufficient experience in marketing communication: The candidate should have experience in developing and implementing marketing communication strategies and plans, including digital marketing, advertising, and public relations.

  • Sufficient experience in marketing intelligence with strong analytical skills to develop and implement marketing intelligence strategies and plans including data collection, analysis, reporting and public relations.

  • Strong interpersonal communication skill and collaborative spirits with the ability to build diversified relationships and influence stakeholders.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Willingness to travel as needed.

  • Language skills: English is essential for effective communication with customers, partners, and internal teams.
