Job Description - Strategic Sales Account Manager, Data Center (AC)

Job Description:

  • Partner with the Sales team to develop and execute strategic account plans for key named clients.
  • Drive new business growth by identifying, qualifying, engaging, and closing opportunities within assigned territories or market segments.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with key customer stakeholders, gaining deep insight into their business challenges and delivering value-driven solutions.
  • Act as a liaison between field teams and Global Accounts, supporting new agreements, value-add initiatives, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) strategies, and wallet-share growth.
  • Manage and maintain a robust pipeline across named accounts, including renewals, project opportunities, and expansion initiatives.
  • Provide regular updates to management on customer engagement, opportunity pipeline, renewal status, and progress against strategic plans.
  • Collaborate in solution development to effectively meet customer needs.
  • Engage supplier sales teams to leverage their expertise and co-create tailored solutions.

Requirement:

  • Minimum High School Diploma (or equivalent) required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Proven experience in sales development and strategic account management
  • Prior experience with ICT/Data Center solutions will be advantageous.
  • Demonstrated track record of building, maintaining, and growing key client relationships
  • Solid understanding of business and management principles, including strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership, production processes, and coordination of teams and resources
  • Ability to identify growth potential within assigned accounts and proactively create new opportunities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and sustain meaningful client relationships
  • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving capabilities
  • Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience operating within a matrix organization, managing multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%
