Job Description - Strategy Manager

Our client is a global travel retailer, distributor and duty free operator. We are currently partnering them to look for a Strategy Manager. As a key member of the regional team, you are responsible for building and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders to expand their footprints within the region in all channels.

Responsibilities

Participate in networking events to build and maintain relationships across various business stakeholders in Asia Pacific to drive new business opportunities.

Evaluate and analyse potential investment options as well as assess business opportunities by developing financial projections and scenario analysis across all channels throughout Asia Pacific.

Analyse market trends and review annual reports, business models and business plans of other global/local competitors to support business decisions in achieving sustainable business growth.

Develop strategic roadmap to drive the companyâs regional growth plans.

Partner closely with the various internal stakeholders to align on growth strategies and objectives.

Develop strategies for the current as well as business model expansion topics encompassing strengths and capabilities of the Company.

Requirements

A Degree in Business Administration with practical experience of at least 6 years in a Retail or FMCG industry and In-house or external consultancy experience.

Proficient in Microsoft Office such as Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook, Visio and Teams and ability to develop business presentations in story-telling formats.

Strong communication, decision making and stakeholder management skills with the proven ability to build and sustain relationships.

Excellent financial and analytical skills combined with sound business acumen.

A pronounced can-do attitude, complemented by the capability to multi-task and the flexibility to handle changing requirements in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
