Student Management Officer

Job Description:

• Supervise detention, reflection sessions, and restorative practices for students with behavioural concerns.
• Assist ininvestigating student discipline cases by gathering statements and supporting fact-finding.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, interventions, and follow-up actions.
• Managestudent discipline databases, case tracking, and prepare reports for trend analysis.
• Monitor students with recurring behavioral issues and provide progress updates.
• Support restorative and developmental approaches to student behavior management.
• Respond promptly to student incidents and provide supervision when required.
• Assist with school-wide student management programmes, interventions, and events.
• Evaluate programme effectiveness and recommend improvements.

Requirements:

• Degree in Childhood Psychology, Social Work,Counselling, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in counselling, socialwork, or student discipline, preferably in a primary school.
• Strong understanding of student behaviour management and intervention strategies.
• Calm, fair, and objective when handling challenging situations.
• Resourceful with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong conflict resolution, de-escalation, and communication skills.
• Able to work effectively with students, parents, and school staff
