Student Management Officer

Job Description:

• Conduct investigations into student disciplinary cases and prepare incident reports.
• Supervise in-school suspension and after-school detention, ensuring students complete assigned work and restorative activities.
• Communicate professionally with parents regarding student behavior and follow-up plans.
• Monitor morning assembly, manage canteen patrols, and record late-comers.
• Conduct campus and neighborhood patrols to maintain student safety and discipline.
• Track attendance, identify chronic absenteeism, and support home visits where required.
• Supervise the Student Activity Centre (SAC) and organize student engagement activities.
• Mentor and support at-risk students to encourage positive behaviour and personal development.
• Analyze discipline and attendance trends and provide updates to the HOD (Student Management).
• Foster a safe, positive, and supportive school environment.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in youth work, education, counselling, social services, or student behaviour management is preferred.
• Background in security or uniformed services (SPF/SAF/SCDF) is an advantage.
• Strong conflict resolution and de-escalation skills with the ability to maintain discipline.
• Passionate about mentoring and supporting students with empathy and professionalism.
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
• Able to work effectively with students, parents, teachers, and external stakeholders.
• Physically fit and able to conduct regular campus and neighbor hood patrols.
