Sub-Contracting Assistant

Purpose: Responsible for arranging transportation operations and activities for product-related materials and parts. This includes planning, liaising, and confirming with sub-contracting service providers to receive and return materials/parts to support operations fulfilments.

Key Area of Responsibilities:

• Manage product-related materials/parts from internally in accordance with VDL operational Procedures.
• Prepare the transit documents for administrative before dispatch of product to Supplier.
• Handling non-conforming part by returning and receiving product from internal and supplier
• Maintain safety and security of the sub-con area to ensure a safe work environment.
• Support in transport booking for internal & external use to ensure deliverables are met.
• Liaise with supplier for collection to rework parts.
• Prepare labels with details (E.g. Project code, production order number, and quantities) according to individual folders and paste them on the components and parts.
• Support and participate in company continuous improvement program.
