Job Description:

We are looking for a responsible and experienced Operations Supervisor to oversee daily logistics and shipping operations. The role involves supervising warehouse, packing, delivery coordination, customer service support, and ensuring parcels are handled safely and efficiently from China to Singapore.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily operations, including parcel receiving, sorting, packing, dispatching, and delivery coordination.

• Monitor group shipping arrangements from China to Singapore and ensure shipments are processed on time.

• Coordinate with China-side partners, local warehouse staff, drivers, and customers to ensure smooth shipment flow.

• Check parcel details, shipment records, customer orders, and delivery status to ensure accuracy.

• Ensure proper handling of packages, including sack packaging, wooden frame reinforcement, and fragile item protection when required.

• Arrange staff duties, monitor attendance, and guide team members on daily work requirements.

• Handle customer enquiries, shipment updates, complaints, and service recovery when necessary.

• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, safety, and proper storage of parcels.

• Monitor operational issues such as delayed shipments, damaged parcels, missing items, or incorrect delivery information, and report to management.

• Ensure compliance with company procedures, service standards, and relevant logistics and safety requirements.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in logistics, shipping, warehouse operations, freight forwarding, e-commerce fulfilment, or related fields.

• Able to supervise and coordinate a team effectively.

• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

• Able to communicate in English and Mandarin to liaise with customers and China-side partners.

• Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Basic computer skills and ability to use order management or shipment tracking systems.

• Able to work on weekends, public holidays, or overtime when required.

• Candidates with experience in China-Singapore shipping, group shipping, or parcel consolidation will be preferred.
