Supplier Quality Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Deal with supplier to ensure all parts are correctly verified & fit for use promptly.
• Resolve any quality issues promptly and effectively, collect the data & supplier's performance to identify risk and develop future plans to improve parts and quality experience.
• Train & enable technicians to function as effective detection and prevention gates of incoming materials to ensure good part quality.
• Audit, qualify, manage suppliers & parts. Map suppliers’ development plan with existing and potential suppliers.
• Review and improve the SQE workflow, process efficiency and productivity.
• Ensure safe and efficient inspection process & operating environment.
• Ensure the validity, fitness & correct functions of SQE equipment.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Science disciplines (materials, chemistry, physics) & Engineering disciplines (mechanical, materials, chemical, quality, manufacturing).
• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant working experience.
• Experience in plastic injection and/or metal stamping will be excellent.
• Knowledge of using SolidWorks, JMP, Minitab will be added advantage.
