Job Description - Supply Chain Assistant Manager

Our client is a global leader in manufacturing enginesâ lubricants for the automotive industry. We are currently partnering them to look for a Supply Chain Assistant Manager.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Regional S&OP Manager, you will be supporting the supply chain and demand planning needs of 13 markets across Singapore and Export Markets business unit. The successful candidate will manage the sales forecasting process for all 13 markets as well as manage Singapore stock replenishment and liquidation. You will play an important role in validating sales forecast from APAC countries and understand drivers for demand changes and work closely with Sales and Marketing team to ensure that their market and customer knowledge and plans are reflected in the forecasts.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelorâs Degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent and at least 6 to 7 yearsâ experience in Supply Chain Management and Demand Planning. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills to manage relationships, both internally and externally, with ability to gain trust of key stakeholders and gain respect as a subject matter expert. Lastly, you should have experience in managing finished goods, within either consumer goods or after market.
