Supply Chain Manager - Urgent Hiring

Key Accountabilities:

Achieve Cost, Quality and Delivery Targets in the Supply Chain of Assigned Categories

• Monitor & improve supply chain performance based on analysis and track records.
• Manage the data collection, data analysis, and reporting activities of supply chain to assist business unit managers/executives in developing a sourcing strategy.
• Develop, maintain, and distribute monthly reports based on external (suppliers) and internal departments data, highlighting agreed-upon KPIs for each category. Support RFP activities. Maintain a database of contracts and track expiration dates and other key elements.
• Ensure corrective actions are taken on incidences that deviate from targets and standards.
• Monitor and provide feedback to management on purchasing system improvements.

Establishment of Other Cost-saving Initiatives for Continuous Improvement in Cost Management

• Identify appropriate cost-saving strategies and techniques and develop an action plan.
• Produce a master list of cost-saving targets and monitor results.
• Formulate and implement a supplier management plan, including vendor sourcing and selection, pricing benchmarking, negotiation, product quality, and reliability of suppliers.
• Collect market information and trends from suppliers to provide accurate material planning and finished goods forecasting.

Forward Planning

• Perform analysis and quarterly reviews, and identify appropriate techniques. Develop a plan of action.
• Plan for cost savings in the assigned area of responsibility. Conduct feasibility studies and review possibilities with users.
• Conduct feasibility studies and review market prices and suppliers' management.
• Keep records of all vendor performance reports.

Qualification and Selection of Vendors on Purchasing List

• Review qualification criteria and limits to explore new opportunities for improvement.
• Participate in vendor evaluation of proposals, negotiations, and make recommendations to the management team Committee regarding supplier selection and contract awards.
• Review and evaluate vendors' performance to ensure conformity with agreed service levels and the delivery of goods and/or services that meet expectations.

Others

Perform any other duties assigned from time to time.

Results Measurement: 

• Timeliness/quality of data collection & report preparation to management
• COGS and costing saving targets
• Establishment of vendor database, qualification criteria, and vendor performance management system
• Fulfillment rate of demand/supply planning 
• Proactive recommendations on future costing stabilization initiatives

Job Requirement:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Purchasing/Supply Chain Management or a related discipline is required.
• Minimum of 8 years of supply chain/purchasing/sourcing experience in supermarkets, hotel chains, catering, or a related industry.  Strong F&B experience preferred. 
• Detail-minded with excellent negotiation, problem solving, organization, analytical and communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with people at all levels.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
• Strong computer literacy in Microsoft Office.
