Supply Executive

Location: Singapore

At World Fuel, we connect global energy supply with customer demand across aviation, marine, and land sectors. We are looking for a commercially minded Supply Executive to join our team in Singapore, supporting our marine fuel business across Korea and the wider region.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys fast paced trading environments, building supplier partnerships, and identifying new commercial opportunities in dynamic commodity markets.

What you will do

As a Supply Executive, you will play a key role in sourcing and securing fuel supply while driving value for both our customers and supplier partners.

You will:

• Negotiate daily fuel purchasing requirements within your assigned markets

• Build and strengthen relationships with existing suppliers to unlock new opportunities

• Identify and onboard new suppliers to expand our supply network

• Structure and negotiate supply agreements with commercially advantageous terms

• Monitor market trends, pricing, and demand to identify trading opportunities

• Maintain and manage a pipeline of supplier opportunities and targets

• Serve as a reliable point of contact for supplier transactions and requests

• Maintain port demand profiles to support strategic planning and customer coverage

• Support operational and logistics activities, including delivery coordination, service issues, and claims resolution

What you bring

We are looking for a driven and commercially aware professional who thrives in a competitive and evolving market.

Required experience and skills:

• 3+ years of experience in commodity trading, ideally within marine fuel or related energy markets

• Fluency in Korean, both written and spoken, is required due to regular interaction with Korean-speaking suppliers and stakeholders

• Strong understanding of commodity market dynamics and pricing fundamentals

• High level of numerical and analytical capability with the ability to interpret market data

• Confident negotiator with strong commercial judgment

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to operate effectively in a fast paced, high pressure environment

Nice to have

• Experience working as a marine fuel broker or trader

• Working knowledge of derivatives or risk management instruments
