The Role  
As a Base Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Planning and preparing project equipment.
• Maintaining Equipment to circuit board level.
• Testing of Equipment to MMA and manufacturer's specifications
• Building In-House systems & R&D.
• General warehouse duties.
• Assist Workshop Manager.

This is a full-time permanent position based in our workshop located Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting workshop manager, testing, packaging equipment for projects.
• Managing In-house positioning systems.
• Assisting project managers with project related equipment.
• Implement Continuous improvement of efficiency by utilising technology and streamlining processes.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified or prior training in a similar role
• C class driver’s licence
• Forklift licence
• First Aid course
• Portable appliance testing certified.

Essential Experience

• Proficiency around computer equipment both hardware and software
• Clear understanding of electrical circuitry and electrical principles
• Workshop/warehouse experience
• Offshore hydrographic experience
• Testing and interfacing survey sensors and equipment
• Hydrographic survey software experience (Qinsy, Evia, Starfix etc)
• Offshore project preparation from planning to completion
