SVP / ED, Investment Banking (M&A)

Our client is a regional investment bank looking for an experienced M&A banker to lead and guide Associates and Analysts in the team. He / She would lead the execution of M&A deals in Singapore and SEA across a broad spectrum of industries. This is an opportunity to join a fast-growing team with high internal visibility within the Bank.

Key Responsibility Areas and Experience :

1. Strong M&A execution experience (>8+ years) in Asian markets, preferably in South and South East Asia.
2. Strong needs understanding of corporate and FIG clients.
3. Strong capabilities within the M&A lifecycle - comprising pitching, originating, reviewing pitchbooks and driving execution of transactions.
4. Development and on-the-job training of junior colleagues in the M&A desk.
5. Work alongside onshore coverage teams across the region to identify pitching opportunities.
6. Degree in either Economics, Accounting, Business, Finance, Math or Engineering.
7. Proven track record in originating and executing M&A transactions and preferably leading teams (at least a year).
