Job Description - SVP/ED, Senior Wealth Planner, Private Banking, Consumer Banking Group

Business Function

DBS' Private Banking offers a one-stop, full-service touch-point for total banking requirements and provides the highest level of personalised banking. We have a team of dedicated, experienced investment advisors who identify opportunities in the various asset classes and employ the best strategies and product vehicles to cater to each client's needs. Coupled with partnerships within the DBS network and with global institutions, we strive to build long-term relationships with our Private Banking clients in Asia by providing them with high quality, timely and extensive wealth management, investment and financial solutions.

DBS' passion for curating the most relevant wealth management solutions to meet the ever-expanding needs and expectations of our Private Banking (PB) and Treasures Private Banking (TPC) clients in Singapore and across the region has led us to the forefront in the Wealth Planning industry.

The Wealth Planning, Family Office & Insurance Solutions team comprises of a team of dedicated and experienced wealth planners and insurance specialists who work closely with the Relationship Managers (RMs) of DBS to provide holistic wealth planning solutions to DBS PB and TPC clients. We are committed to delivering unique and best-in-class solutions to meet our clients' complex wealth planning needs.

Responsibilities

Engage with PB and/or TPC clients and take them through the wealth planning journey and providing holistic wealth planning solutions
Proactively drive new business deals with a view to supporting the RMs to achieve NNM, Trust injections, Family Office injections and Insurance Revenue targets
Conduct client events by presenting and hosting the events and moderating panel discussions
Conduct wealth planning trainings and briefing sessions on tax and regulatory updates for PB and TPC RMs
Drive creative solutions and initiatives to increase client engagements
Ensure smooth implementation of business strategy

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a related discipline
Preferably TEP qualified
At least 10-15 years of relevant experience in wealth planning, trust review and marketing
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Outstanding team player
Highly motivated with a passion to continually build technical expertise from a tax and legal perspective in an evolving field
