SWIFT Technical Lead

Yio Chu Kang, Singapore,1 -year contract (may be extended)

Our client is looking
for a dynamic candidate with strong IT experience who will take the lead in
managing and testing banking software systems that use SWIFT messaging —
a key system for sending and receiving secure financial messages.

Job scope

• Lead and manage projects and
  testing related to SWIFT systems and banking software.
  
• Be the main point of contact for SWIFT
  system updates and enhancements (especially related to ISO20022).
  
• Understand and work with various
  messaging formats like SWIFT FIN and ISO20022.
  
• Use tools and systems like IBM
  MQ, SFTP, APIs, and JMS to connect systems.
  
• Support and manage software
  related to SWIFT applications (like SAA, SAG, SNL, AWP).
  
• Plan, prepare, and manage testing
  for system changes and new features.
  
• Create and manage test documents
  and track all testing activities using tools like JIRA and GitHub.
  
• Handle issue tracking and help
  resolve any problems found during testing.
  
• Sometimes, testing will be done outside
  regular working hours.
  
• Provide necessary documents and
  info during internal or external audits.
  
• Offer
  regular support for critical banking systems 
  

Requirements

• Certified in software testing or
  quality management.
  
• Strong understanding of SWIFT
  messaging and transaction screening systems.
  
• Experience with incident and
  defect management.
