System Engineer (CCTV & Card Access) - Hiring Urgently

Our Client is a provider of security solutions, specializing in the design, installation, and maintenance of state-of-the-art CCTV systems. They are currently seeking a skilled System Engineer to join our team and work on our CCTV systems projects.

Job Summary: 

As a System Engineer specializing in CCTV systems, you will be responsible for the design, installation, configuration, and maintenance of CCTV systems for our clients. You will work closely with clients to understand their security needs and design customized solutions to meet those needs. You will also provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting for existing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement customized CCTV systems based on client requirements.
• Install, configure, and maintain CCTV cameras and related equipment.
• Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine optimal camera placement.
• Integrate CCTV systems with other security systems, such as access control and alarm systems.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for clients' CCTV systems.
• Perform regular system maintenance and upgrades to ensure optimal performance.
• Document system designs, configurations, and maintenance records.
• Train clients on the operation and maintenance of their CCTV systems.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in CCTV technology.
• Collaborate with other engineers and technicians on projects as needed.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive client relationships.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in designing, installing, and maintaining CCTV systems.
• Strong knowledge of IP networking and video transmission protocols.
• Familiarity with various CCTV camera types and technologies, such as PTZ cameras and infrared cameras.
• Experience with video management software (VMS) and video analytics.
• Proficient in troubleshooting technical issues and providing solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in CCTV systems or related fields (e.g., Axis Communications, Hikvision, etc.).
• Experience with other security systems (e.g., access control, alarm systems).
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices in CCTV systems.
