System Engineer (Redhill 5 Days Microsoft 365) - [SIEN] - Growth-Minded Organization

Working Location: Bukit Merah

Working Hours: Mon - Fri, Office Hours

Contract Duration: 12 months (Renewable)

Job Responsibilities: 

• Support M365 software used in MINDEF/SAF, including future releases and new installations.
• Update baseline app and configurations (device policies) on Intune.
• Review and update application configurations on Intune as necessary.
• Test patches pushed to different Operating Systems (iOS, Android, and Windows devices).
• Test packages provisioned via Intune.
• Track vulnerabilities and patch availability; assess if environments are affected.
• Manage and ensure timely release of change requests for patches and software updates to production machines.
• Conduct proper patch or software testing in the Lab environment and verify on Production Unit Test machines before release to Pilot and mass.
• Perform client performance measurement for all client environments after patching and maintain records.
• Establish new Windows configurations for support.
• Troubleshoot and provide workarounds to resolve system and application issues encountered during patching or operation.
• Assist users with software testing and certification.
• Manage hardware and software configurations of supported client devices, and provide updated procedural documentation and relevant reports for any configuration change.
• Support new deployment and current operations with updated Baseline Applications and proper versioning. Conduct testing and troubleshooting for encountered issues.
• Update Configuration List, Deployment Guide, Configuration Guide, User Guide.
• Provide 2nd line support to address IT-related queries, incidents, and requests reported by 1st line and users.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Information Technology/Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in providing IT support.
• Experience in configuring and troubleshooting Microsoft 365 service-related issues.
• Experience in managing Microsoft 365 and Intune.
• Experience configuring, managing, and supporting end-client devices and peripherals (e.g., Desktops, Notebooks, Tablets, Phones).
• Experience in solving hardware and software issues on end-client devices and peripherals.
• Good knowledge of Operating Systems (Windows, MAC, Android, IOS), Active Directory, Group Policy Object.
• Good understanding of scripts and batch files.
• Good understanding of security concepts such as authentication and authorization.
