Role and Responsibilities

The Systems Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of critical IT systems. This role requires a highly skilled and experienced individual who can manage complex projects and ensure system uptime and performance.

• Provisioning, Installation, and Configuration:
  • Servers (Windows Server 2012/2016/2019)
  • Virtualization environments (VMware & vCenter)
• System Monitoring and Maintenance:
  • Proactively monitor system health and performance.
  • Identify and troubleshoot system issues.
  • Implement system improvements and optimizations.
  • Perform regular patching and maintenance activities.
• Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work effectively with internal teams to resolve complex issues.
  • Document procedures and maintain clear communication with stakeholders.
  • Provide on-call support with a varied schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Level 2 engineer with expertise in:
• Windows Server 2012/2016/2019 administration
• VMware & vCenter configuration and management
• Server monitoring tools and techniques
• Patching and update procedures
• VM provisioning and management
• Bug fixing and troubleshooting methodologies
• Diploma/Degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• Experience in data center operations supporting Windows and network technologies (a plus).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Availability to work a 12-hour shift schedule.
