Job Description - System Management Specialist

Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for a System Management Specialist:

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain internal systems and servers in a secure, stable, and efficient manner.
  • Ensure compliance with audit and security standards for system configurations.
  • Coordinate with vendors for system licensing and hardware maintenance renewals.
  • Handle system troubleshooting, recovery actions, and root cause analysis.
  • Address day-to-day user support issues (server, network, PC, user accounts).
  • Prepare and maintain system documentation such as runbooks, inventories, and ID management lists.
  • Collect and report access logs and system performance logs monthly.
  • Identify and recommend improvements for system stability and performance.
  • Analyse functional requirements and implement system changes based on established guidelines.
  • Collaborate with team leads to ensure alignment between system configuration and design standards.
  • Maintain accurate operational documentation and ensure records are up-to-date.
  • Communicate effectively within the team and across departments.
  • Escalate technical issues appropriately and follow up with resolution plans.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and knowledge sharing

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in IT operations and maintenance, especially in the banking or finance sector.
  • Proven experience in managing and building Windows server systems (Mandatory).
  • Strong understanding of ITIL practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications (SharePoint, Teams, Forms, OneDrive).
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure tools (e.g., backup solutions, monitoring systems, antivirus, job schedulers).
  • Familiar with network configurations (ACL, firewall rules).
  • Tier-3 level IT support knowledge (root cause analysis, advanced troubleshooting).

Additional Information:

  • Salary: Up to SGD 8,500 + AWS +VB (1 - 2 Months)
  • Working Location: Tanjong Pagar
  • Working Hours: 5 Days Work, Monday to Friday, 9am - 6pm
