Our client, a highly regarded global investment firm, is looking to hire a Systems Administrator to join its Singapore technology team. This position offers the opportunity to work across a diverse enterprise environment, supporting business-critical infrastructure, end-user technologies, and operational initiatives within a fast-paced and intellectually stimulating workplace.
Working closely with colleagues across multiple regions, you will help maintain and enhance a broad range of systems while delivering exceptional technical support and driving continuous improvements through automation and process optimisation.
Key Responsibilities
Provide hands-on technical support for employee workstations, peripherals, software applications, mobile devices, and collaboration tools.
Support meeting room technology, video conferencing platforms, AV systems, and business-critical trading floor environments.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware, software, networking, and infrastructure-related issues in partnership with global technology teams and external vendors.
Contribute to the administration and support of Windows and Linux-based systems, enterprise communications platforms, and server environments.
Participate in technology projects, including deployments, upgrades, process improvements, and automation initiatives.
Assist with data centre activities and infrastructure support when required.
Deliver a high level of service to users across different business functions and geographic locations
Occasional travel within the APAC region, including Hong Kong and Shanghai
Ideal Candidate
Strong interest in technology, problem-solving, and delivering excellent user support.
Experience supporting Microsoft Windows environments and productivity applications such as Microsoft 365.
Solid understanding of desktop, hardware, software, and systems administration concepts.
Proven experience providing L1 to L3 support, including raising of tickets directly from end users to investigating and resolving complex issues, identify root causes, and implement practical solutions.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across international teams.
Exposure to scripting technologies such as Python or PowerShell would be advantageous.
Prior experience with Linux or Unix environments is beneficial.
Ability to work onsite in Singapore on a full-time basis, with occasional after-hours support when required.
