Tactical Buyer (Network Hardware)

The Opportunity:

Our client is an American organisation specializing in the producing network hardware for consumers, businesses and service providers, with business segments in both B2B and B2C. We are currently seeking an experienced Tactical Buyer to be responsible for direct procurement, managing ODM and AVL suppliers on production schedules and acquisitions.

• Mon-Fri 9AM-6PM (3 days WFH)
• Basic up to $7,000 + AWS + Variable Bonus

The Job:

• Ensuring on-time delivery (OTD) performance from ODM suppliers.
• Ensure production scheduling and supply from ODMs meets company's requirements.
• Manage and ensure sufficient material storage and allocation between ODM and AVL suppliers for priority shipment.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure product delivery and NPI (New Product Initiative) launches.
• Manage and reduce cost impact from decreased demand, including purchase order cancellations, product end-of-life scenarios, or material changes.
• Ensure data accuracy of Purchase Orders in ERP system.
• Identify and provide process improvement initiatives in all processes.
• Measure and manage supplier performance metrics.

The Talent:

• Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
• Strong experiences in electronic manufacturing industry (OEM/EMS) is required.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (such as Oracle)
