TAP Tech Lead — Private Banking / Wealth Management

About the role We’re seeking an experienced TAP Tech Lead to drive technology architecture and delivery for Private Banking / Wealth Management applications. You will steward solution design and technical governance, partner with analysts, architects and delivery teams, and ensure high-quality end-to-end implementation of Temenos WealthSuite-based solutions and related integrations.

Key responsibilities

· Support the project solution process: review and validate high-level solution designs with stakeholders (Enterprise, Security, Infra and Application Domain Architects) for Technology Architecture Governance reviews and approvals.

· Partner with System Analysts to ensure technical designs comply with enterprise design principles, security and control standards.

· Standardize and maintain application architecture across multiple bank applications within the domain; recommend and evaluate new technologies to improve application capabilities and reduce technical debt.

· Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise across delivery phases (connectivity, penetration test findings, performance issues, static code-scan results, etc.).

· Support functional and non-functional testing to ensure the delivered system meets Functional Specification Documents (FSD) and non-functional requirements.

· Ensure project teams receive the technical knowledge and guidance needed to perform effective testing and validation.

· Engage with third-party system vendors to clarify technical requirements and ensure FSD-aligned delivery through implementation phases.

· Collaborate closely with developers and infrastructure teams to clarify functional specifications and technical design during build, test and deployment phases.

· Perform code and design reviews, ensure adherence to secure-by-design and enterprise standards, and validate integration and operational readiness for production.

Key requirements (must-have)

· Proven experience with Temenos WealthSuite products (e.g., EdgeConnect, TCIB, Triple A+ GUI/WUI, OData, WTX).

· Hands-on experience in Unix/Linux shell scripting and working with Sybase or Oracle databases.

· Demonstrated delivery experience of Private Banking solutions, including at least one end-to-end application delivery you have led or contributed to significantly.

· Extensive experience as a technical lead on large cross-functional or enterprise projects.

· Strong application analysis, system design, integration and code review skills within Private Banking / Wealth Management domain.

· Solid understanding of integration patterns, API and microservices concepts, event-based processing and OCP-based applications.

· Hands-on experience in Java and microservices/OCP-based application development; familiarity with web/mobile development.

· Experience working with DevOps practices and continuous integration pipelines; solid understanding of n-Tier application architectures.

· Excellent interpersonal, influencing and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and a resilient, results-oriented mindset.

Desirable (nice-to-have)

· Experience with TAP Core and additional Temenos modules beyond WealthSuite.

· Prior experience operating in secured or regulated banking environments and working with security testing, compliance controls and audit requirements.

· Knowledge of containerization, Kubernetes/OpenShift and infrastructure-as-code for deployment automation.

· Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall SDLC frameworks, and prior experience in SAFe or scaled delivery environments.

· Certifications in Java, cloud platforms, Temenos or relevant architecture/DevOps specialisations.
