Team Lead, AML/CFT Compliance (MAS 314 / Financial Sector / $12K) (ID: 706663)

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee compliance with relevant AML regulations (MAS 314) and expectations.
2. Align internal AML policies and procedures with external regulatory requirements as necessary.
3. Offer AML advisory support to various business units.
4. Conduct AML Compliance Assurance to confirm adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies.
5. Regularly review and update AML policies, manuals, and procedures.
6. Monitor AML activities undertaken by Group entities.
7. Execute enterprise-wide AML risk assessments and enhance the existing framework.
8. Perform quality assurance and control on Know-Your-Client and Transaction Surveillance activities.

Requirements:

1. Minimum of 10-15 years' experience in AML policy development.
2. Strong familiarity with relevant MAS regulatory requirements and the ability to translate these into operational processes.
3. Proven ability to enhance and streamline workflows and assess control effectiveness.
4. Demonstrated initiative and strong people management skills.
5. Proficient in navigating complex organizational structures and technical understanding of AML systems.
6. Familiarity with AI and past experience with regulatory bodies will be an advantage.
