As a Technical Accountant, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Ensure prompt and accurate documentation of Treaty Statement of Accounts received from Brokers/Cedants.
• Manage both Inward and Outward Treaty Technical accounts, covering responsibilities for both Prop Treaty and Non Prop Treaty.
• For Prop Treaty tasks, responsibilities include verifying and documenting SOA, estimating premiums, managing Profit Commission, Sliding Scale Commission, and Cash Calls, as well as maintaining Outstanding Loss Reserves and monitoring Cash Calls refunds.
• Non Prop Treaty duties involve verifying and documenting MDP, estimating premiums, managing Premium Adjustment, and handling Reinstatement Premium matters.
• Supervise Treaty Credit Control, overseeing the collection and payment of premiums and claims. Monitor and manage outstanding balances for brokers/cedants, and accurately allocate receipts and payments within the system.
• Collaborate with underwriters on policy terms as required.
• Collaborate with claims handlers on claim payables as necessary.
• Fulfill any additional projects or duties assigned.

Requirements: 

• Minimum Degree in Accounting/Finance or related field or equivalent
• Knowledge of Treaty Technical Accounting, familiar with Reinsurance regulatory reporting framework
• General Insurance certified preferred
