The Technical Configuration Management (TCM) function ensures the accuracy, consistency, and traceability of product configurations across the business unit. TCM professionals serve as key liaisons between Sales / Account Teams and internal stakeholders within the Epi Business Unit, aids Sales in customer-facing configuration-focused interactions, manage configuration documentation, coordinate cross-functional configuration reviews, and maintain configuration integrity throughout the customer order lifecycle. TCM plays a critical role in enabling efficient product delivery, optimizing customer order hardware and software content, and supporting business growth through configuration excellence.\n\nThis is a business-critical role requiring high attention to detail. Candidates must be prepared for significant operational demands and time-sensitive deliverables. Candidates must possess the ability to work effectively under pressure and manage shifting priorities.\n\n \nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * Manage and maintain product configurations in alignment with customer specifications and internal standards.\n\n * Function as the primary interface for Sales / Account Teams for configuration requests and issue resolution.\n\n * Collaborate with Sales, Business Management, Product Line Management, and Engineering to validate and maintain accurate customer order configurations.\n\n * Support configuration-related project activities, including planning, tracking, and providing input to execution of configuration freeze and validation.\n\n * Participate in New Product Integration (NPI) and Continuous Improvement Processes (CIP) to ensure configuration, readiness and consistency over time.\n\n * Advanced knowledge of NPME role. Leads the development, implementation, and release of BOMs and product structure for complex products. Drives the development and implementation of new product manufacturing, test, and sourcing strategies. Provides recommendations to improve the commercialization of the product.\n\n * Actively participates in design reviews, providing DFA, DFAe, DFTp, ITO, and operational efficiency improvement feedback to new product development team to drive cost, quality, and cycle time goals.\n\n * Leads the disposition and resolution of issues requiring Long Term Corrective Action (LTCA) for project/program. Performs root cause corrective analysis (RCCA) and correlates to determine systemic issues. Champions business process and/or software solutions.\n\n * Manage strategic vendor issues, facilitating communication between supplier and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and put solutions in place\n\n\n\n\nRequired Skills:\n\n * Proficiency in configuration management tools and processes, including Product Architecture, BOM management, Engineering changes, and Configuration Accuracy discussions.\n\n * Ability to work across multiple functions including Product Line Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Management, and Sales to align configuration requirements and resolve configuration-related issues.\n\n * Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage shifting priorities.\n\n * Cross-regional collaboration and experience in matrix organizations are essential.\n\n * Experience in customer-facing roles or account support, with the ability to translate customer requirements into actionable configuration plans.\n\n * Demonstrated capability in technical project management, including planning, tracking, and executing configuration milestones.\n\n * Ability to manage complex configuration histories and ensure traceability across multiple product revisions and customer engagements.\n\n * Strong analytical and critical thinking skills\n\n\n\n\nPreferred skills:\n\n * Familiarity with business unit operations and product line strategy, enabling alignment of configuration activities with broader business goals.\n\n * Sound knowledge in semiconductor systems refurbishment, BOM creation \u0026 implementation, testing and souring.\n\n * Understanding of product lifecycle processes and sustaining engineering practices\n\n\n\n\nQualifications:\n\n * Solid foundation in Engineering (mechanical, electrical, systems, process) with direct experience in semiconductor equipment design, manufacturing, field installation, or maintenance and support\n\n * More than ten years of semiconductor manufacturing or semiconductor equipment industry experience with a blend of technical depth and operational execution.\n\n\n\n\nWork Location:\n\n * Upper Changi\n\n\n\n\n## Qualifications\n\n### Education:\n\nBachelor\u0027s Degree\n\n### Skills\n\n### Certifications:\n\n### Languages:\n\n### Years of Experience:\n\n7 - 10 Years\n\n### Work Experience:\n\n## Additional Information\n\n### \n\n### Shift:\n\nDay (Singapore)\n\n### \n\n### Travel:\n\nYes, 20% of the Time\n\n### \n\n### Relocation Eligible:\n\nNo\n\n### Referral Payment Plan:\n\nEmployee Referral (Standard)\n\nApplied Materials is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
