Technical Manager (Cloud)

The Technical Manager leads the design, deployment, and management of cloud solutions across AWS and Azure environments. This role ensures cloud architectures align with enterprise technology, security, and compliance standards while supporting both Day 1 (deployment, migration, configuration) and Day 2 (operations, monitoring, optimization, incident response) activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure, scalable, and compliant cloud architectures.
• Evaluate and adopt cloud-native services, tools, and deployment models.
• Recommend cloud technologies and best practices to enhance infrastructure and system design.
• Document cloud architectures, operational procedures, and technical standards.
• Lead cloud deployments, migrations, integrations, and service enhancements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve deployment, operational, and performance issues.
• Drive automation through Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring solutions.
• Monitor cloud environments for performance, availability, security, and cost optimization opportunities.
• Oversee cloud platform maintenance, operational support, and automation tools.
• Plan and execute disaster recovery testing and resilience exercises.
• Provide technical leadership in resolving incidents and operational challenges.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of cloud architecture, design patterns, and enterprise deployment best practices.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure across both deployment and operational support functions.
• Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
• Proficiency in Python scripting and automation is advantageous.
• Familiarity with hybrid and multi-cloud environments; Google Cloud knowledge is a plus.
• Strong collaboration skills within Agile, DevOps, and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on security, scalability, resilience, and cost efficiency.
