Technical Manager - Room for Advancement

Job description 

• Lead Engineering team and Architecture team to develop construction drawing include concrete body plan, Architecture shop drawing, specialist shop drawing.
• Works collaborative with Architect and consultants to incorporate the development brief and project requirement into the construction. 
• Study and develop good practice for construction.
• Implement design and construction methodology to improve buildability and constructability. 
• Align design and technical support to meet project schedule. 
• Review the design to meet the Authority code compliance.
• Incorporate Safety for Design and Safety for Maintenance in the design.
• Coordinate with specialist contractors include Precast, Façade, any other architecture trade to develop shop drawing and interfacing with all other trades.
• Coordinate and develop design, method statement for installation and all necessary connection for Precast structure.
• Organize meeting with Authority and consultant to resolve compliance and technical matter.
• Attend inspection with authority and consultant.
• Resolve technical issues and site conflicts include submit RFI, RFA and technical proposal for ease of construction.

Job Requirements 

• At least 15 to 20 years of relevant experience.
• Diploma in Architecture or equivalent from an accredited institution, with relevant experience in a similar role
• Well-versed with 2D and 3D design software and technologies, such as AutoCAD, Revit and Microsoft suite.
• Acute knowledge and application of planning and building codes and regulations, regulatory submissions and processes.
• Organised and methodical with attention to detail.
• Ability to take initiative, work methodically, and autonomously.
• An open and highly collaborative mindset and approach.
