Technical Program Manager

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute account technology engagement plans, and manage engineering schedules and resource allocation and budget
• Leading and maintaining team synergy and program oversight with standing weekly cross-functional team and development team meetings to drive execution to the major milestones
• Managing program risks and escalating issues to the management teams and key stakeholders to mitigate the risks
• Leading trade-off assessments to drive critical paths and decision making
• Driving program ownership and holding team accountability
• Communicating metrics across and up on program performance against plan of record, progress to commit, risks/gaps, and help needed
• Holding program phase, technology, monthly/quarterly reviews
• Aligning, influencing, and negotiating to address priority gaps across functional groups/orgs
• Responsible for managing project schedule and task details by utilizing project management tools such as reports, tracking charts, checklist and project scheduling software
• Supervises allocated resources from other organizations to achieve on-time and within budget performance objectives for the project
• Manages cost schedule performance of equipment for internal and external customers and vendors.
• Provides technical guidance to team members to achieve project goals
• Interfaces and coordinates with customers to define project objectives, provide status updates and prepare for release and deployment.
• Provides engineering and business process expertise to project team and other members on various projects / issues
• Manages employees (direct reports or matrixed reports); contributes to effective performance management, employee development and retention.

Requirements

• Min 4 years of engineering project management experiences and supervisory role
• Past background in semiconductor industry will be an added advantage
• Stay updated with the latest semiconductor technology
• Problem-solver, inquisitive and team-oriented
