Job Description - Technical Programme Manager

Our client is seeking a Technical Programme Manager with a background in Civil, Structural, or Architectural (CSA) Engineering to support the delivery of large-scale data centre development programmes. This role is responsible for programme coordination, project governance, contract administration, stakeholder management, and technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, consultants, and vendors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with established standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate programme activities and support the successful delivery of data centre development projects.
  • Prepare meeting minutes, presentations, reports, project documentation, and progress updates.
  • Maintain issue logs, action trackers, risk registers, requests for information (RFIs), and programme documentation.
  • Manage engineering documentation, revision control, and document repositories to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Support change management activities and monitor product development issues throughout the programme lifecycle.
  • Compile programme status reports and communicate project updates, risks, and key milestones to stakeholders.
  • Review funding requests, contracts, purchase orders, and vendor invoices to ensure compliance with project requirements and commercial agreements.
  • Track contract progress, procurement activities, and vendor onboarding processes.
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary project teams to ensure project milestones and deliverables are achieved.
  • Support programme governance, reporting, escalation processes, and project controls.
  • Monitor project schedules, budgets, cash flow, and cost reporting in collaboration with commercial and finance teams.
  • Develop and maintain work plans while tracking project deliverables and overall programme performance.
  • Organize and facilitate weekly project meetings, preparing progress reports and following up on outstanding action items.
  • Promote effective communication and collaboration across internal teams, consultants, vendors, and project stakeholders.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support successful programme execution.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in programme management, project management, or project coordination within construction, engineering, infrastructure, or data centre environments.
  • Experience supporting large-scale mission-critical or infrastructure projects is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of project governance, contract administration, procurement processes, and project reporting.
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams, consultants, contractors, and external vendors.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and project reporting tools.
  • Experience with document management systems such as AODocs or similar platforms is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
