JOB SUMMARY

The Digital Transformation (DX) team is a diverse group of problem-solvers with outstanding technical skills. We bring the business into the future by building digital, data-driven solutions that help RySense perform better, operate faster, and deliver more value from research.

We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to be the chief orchestrator at the heart of RySense’s transformation efforts. Sitting at the intersection between technology and business strategy, you will combine your knowledge of application design, development and outstanding project management skills with an astute understanding of business needs/stakeholders to drive the successful delivery of digital transformation initiatives.

 

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Analysis

  • Develop specialised knowledge of how technology enables RySense business/data operations.
  • Clarify business needs and translate them into effective technical plans and specifications.
  • Perform detailed requirements analysis for development projects.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance/streamline processes, operations, and systems.
  • Monitor progress, track milestones, and adjust project plans for successful delivery.

Technical Project Management

  • Manage DX development projects from conception to implementation.
  • Ensure business needs are well-understood and robustly addressed by technology vendors.
  • Manage stakeholders and vendors to ensure adherence to scope, cost, and schedule.

Risks, Issues & Process Management

  • Identify, report, and manage risks/issues.
  • Perform business impact assessments on transitioning from the “as-is” to “to-be” state.
  • Ensure technical and process documentation is maintained and up-to-date.
  • Ensure adherence to all applicable policies and governance requirements (Data Privacy and Information Security, PDPA, IT Policies etc), including conducting periodic audits.
  • Propose measures to tighten/streamline policies/governance procedures as needed.

Stakeholder and Change Management

  • Create and implement business readiness plans, covering IT deployment, data migration, and business enablement to drive successful solution adoption.
  • Engage regularly with business stakeholders, project sponsors, and delivery teams to develop/execute change management plans and monitor feedback.
  • Monitor progress and prepare regular company and management updates as needed.

 

REQUIRED TECHNICAL AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERTISE:

  • Minimum Degree in IT, Project Management, Business or related fields
  • Relevant industry certification(s) such as PMP (Project Management Professional), CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional), PMI-ACP (PMI-Agile Certified Practitioner), CSM (Certified Scrum Master), ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library), etc.
  • Min. 3 years working experience in a technical project management role.
  • Familiarity with DevOps/DevSecOps methodologies and tools.
  • Understanding of application architecture and design principles.
  • Soft skills:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Proven stakeholder management skills, preferably in a complex organisational environment.
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills and algorithmic thinking.
    • Methodical, organised with good time management skills.
    • Meticulous with an eye for detail.
    • Sense of ownership and urgency.
    • Team player but also able to work independently.
  • Added advantages:
    • Knowledge in any of the following: Azure, MSSQL, Power Platform, Python
    • Familiarity with the Market Research / Data Analytics industry.
    • Understanding of data protection legislation and/or cybersecurity.
