Technical Sales Manager

This position requires candidate to manage existing accounts and build long-term relationship with customers; grow account with technical competency to achieve sales targets. Candidate is expected to travel within Asean countries for visits to distributors, customers and end users.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain close relationship with existing clients and to develop and acquire new accounts.
• Work closely with OEMs, MROs, End-users and assist them on parts, services & applications of our products namely:
  • Engine cooling pumps
  • Anti vibration dampers - rubber, spring and viscous types
  • Geared motors
  • Forklift Tyres, Wheels and Castors
• Generate and monitor quotations through the sales-process and secure sales through negotiation and follow up with customer.
• Apply safety rules and practices and environmental responsibilities.
• Take initiative to learn related knowledge on electrical/mechanical solutions. 
• Achieve key targets with Sales team by improving sales process and optimizing the workflow, to maximize sales productivity.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Marine/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering 
• Minimum 3 years sales experience and knowledge in the service and application of marine and industrial equipment e.g. diesel engines, forklifts, pumps and geared motors.
• Able to interpret technical drawings with good knowledge of precision machining processes such as milling, turning and additive metrology
• Competent in the use of CAD, CAM and QA management system
• Good relationship with OEMs, MROs, and End-users an added advantage.
• Result oriented; proactive and hungry for success - thrives on sales target to develop new sales.
• Proficient with MS Excel / MS Words / MS Power point
• Excellent business acumen with an entrepreneurial spirit.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good command of English.
• Possess own vehicle with valid driving license.
