Responsibilities
- Technical review on new project orders and order assignments
- Submit engineering documents; Control Schematic Drawing, General Assembly Drawing, Wiring Diagram etc.
- Review all project engineering documents before submitting them to client.
- Manage engineering change & ensure engineering documents updated
- Guidance to engineer & drafter team and support other ops team
- Make recommendations based on common industrial engineering practice
- Implement cost effective & engineering solutions for project
- Provide engineering practice & engineering calculation where applicable
- Review standards and/or project specifications for product compliance. i.e. ISO 12490 / API 6DX / IOGP S-707 / SHELL DEP standards
- Field support to resolve technical issues or technical clarifications.
- Attend internal/external kick off Meeting (KOM) when required.
- Travel with technicians to installation base & sites if needed.
- Lead the department’s improvement programs
- Maintaining and updating the department's SOP
- Conduct personnel performance review to ensure competency
Additional Responsibilities
- Support new employee orientation by providing brief training
- Support Operations department in resolving aftermarket technical issues
- Support development and upkeep of staff technical competence
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical/Instrumentation or equivalent
- Min 6 years supervisory in Valve Automation/ instrumentation background
- Knowledge in ISO 12490 / API 6DX / IOGP S-707 / SHELL DEP
- Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic circuits.
- Ability to interpret drawings, specifications & technical documents.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD 2D/3D or drafting software & SAP is plus.
