Job Description - Technical Support Engineer

Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for a Technical Support Engineer:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Respond to technical inquiries from sales teams and customers via phone and email regarding product capabilities, specifications, and applications
  • Troubleshoot customer issues remotely and provide appropriate technical solutions
  • Conduct application testing and prepare product demonstrations for sales teams and customers
  • Develop and update training materials, technical manuals, and product documentation
  • Deliver in-person and virtual training sessions for new hires and experienced sales representatives
  • Research and analyze competitor products and market trends
  • Collaborate with the product development team, including overseas stakeholders, on new product releases and literature
  • Maintain and update internal platforms (e.g., intranet, newsletters) with relevant product information
  • Participate in on-site customer visits and support sales presentations, if required
  • Support office administrative tasks, including quotation and order entry
  • Identify areas for operational improvement and contribute to process enhancement initiatives
  • Perform other duties or projects as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering (Computer, Electrical, Mechanical) or equivalent technical field
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in technical support, product training, or applications engineering
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to explain complex concepts in a simple manner
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Service-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to customer support
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and communicate effectively with international counterparts
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for training or customer seminars

Additional Information:

  • Salary: Up to SGD 4,200 + AWS + VB (Around 2 - 3 Months)
  • Working Location: Kallang
  • Working Hours: 5 Days Work, Monday - Friday, 8.15am to 5.30pm
