Technician

To be deployed at the following hours:

• Mondays to Friday: 2:00pm to 10:00pm, inclusive of 30 minutes lunch break


• Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays

Job Description:

• Assist Operations Manager in maintenance of Building / Facilities (M&E), housekeeping and daily operations of National Junior College.


• Assist in technical matters of National Junior College Boarding School as and when required.


• Conduct regular building inspection in the college.


• Attend to complaints or feedback related to Building / Facilities (M&E).


• Liaise with college’s term contractors to rectify Building/M&E defects.


• Check on the rectification works done by the term contractors.


• Carry out facility maintenance and minor repair work.


• Handle to emergency situation like fire alarm activation, underground pipe burst, power supply outage and water supply disruption.


• To reset tripped circuit breaker.


• Adjust the digital timer of the air-conditioning system as and when required.


• To help up in traffic control for major event in the college.


• Lock up classrooms and offices

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in building maintenance.


• Experienced in maintenance of air-conditioning systems, plumbing systems and electrical systems.


• Able to rectify minor building and M&E defects.


• Able to read building plans and M&E drawings.
