Equipment Technicians monitor tool performance, schedule and perform preventative maintenance on assigned tool sets, and use mechanical, electronic and PC/software skills to repair equipment issues. \n \nMain Responsibilities: \n\n\u2022 Performs electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process \n\u2022 Dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings \n\u2022 Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts. \n\u2022 Rebuilds manufacturing equipment as required \n\u2022 May perform equipment modifications as directed by engineers. \n\n \n \nMinimum Required Qualifications/Experience \n\n * Diploma in Engineering. Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering is preferred \n\n\n\n * Able to work on 12 hours rotating shift. \n\n\n\n\nPreferred Technical Skills \n\n * Experience in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting is preferred \n\n\n\n * Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing process and technologies is preferred \n\n\n\n * Knowledge of AI tools and application \n\n\n\n\nMust Have Soft Skills \n\u2022 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset \n\u2022 Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration with engineering, operations, and quality teams \n\u2022 Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment \n\u2022 Adaptability and resilience in a dynamic manufacturing setting \n \n\n\nHighly Desirable/Preferred skills or experience \n\u2022 Experience in or knowledge on semiconductor manufacturing process and technologies \n\u2022 Familiarity with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) and automation tools \n\n\u2022 Internship or experience gained as equipment in the semiconductor industry is a plus \n\nJob Profile(s):\n\nEquip Maint Technician 1\n\nRelocation level: (TBD)\n\nBefore Getting Started \nPlease review Micron\u2019s Internal Job Application Policy on your regional PeopleNow Career Opportunities page before searching and applying for jobs.
