TECHNICIAN - Career Growth Potential

You will handle the receipt, storage & distribution of aviation product & maintenance of equipment on a 3 shift-cycle basis

Responsibilities:

1. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

2. COMPANY POLICY

3. HEALTH SAFETY SECURITY & ENVIRONMENT

• Compliance to the Safety Management System towards Key Performance Indicators established
• Participate in review of Risk Assessment and Safe Work Procedure
• To comply to the Loss Prevention System
• CERT team member

4. JETTY

• To line up storage tanks for discharge of fuel from supply vessels
• Loading Master for vessel discharge activities
• To conduct quality checks on board vessel for fuel being supplied
• To verify the vessel receipt documents and cargo quantity is within the allowable tolerance
• To report to Shift Supervisor of any cargo quantity out of the allowable tolerance
• Work closely with the mooring crews to ensure safe berthing and un-berthing of vessels
• Conduct Pre Arrival checklist to prepare for vessel receipt
• Ensure Vessel Masters adhere to vessel ballasting plan
• Monitor Flow rate and Line Pressure throughout receiving
• Operate Loading Arms and Jetty Gangway

5. TANK FARM AND CONTROL ROOM

• Take readings of individual tanks to enable supervisor to calculate stock levels.
• Drain tanks for quality control checks.
• Perform Control checks for release tanks
• Perform Daily Routine Checklist
• Perform Repacking before and after receipt as per Safe Work Procedure
• Assign and prepare tanks for Receiving and Test Rig
• Manage release tank changover as per Safe Work Procedure
• Perform weekly filter Differential Pressure
• Monitor Flow Rate and Inlet Filter Differential Pressure reading during receiving
• Perform functional checks on Equipment as per JIG requirement
• To operate DCS system

6. APRON

• Checks serviceability of pit valves
• Attend to service cor emergency calls or alarms
• Change fuel Pit Valve
• Carry out high flow checks on fuel pit valves
• Perform Low points check in the Apron
• Maintenance and Pressure Testing of Pit Valve assemblies.

7. GENERAL

• General maintenance of buildings/offices/vehicle
• Respond to all emergencies
• Testing of elements in the filters.
• To perform Loss prevention Observation monthly
• Carries out any other works as assigned by Supervisors

Requirements:

• Singapore Citizen
• 'O' level or equivalent, preferably with 3 years in Terminal/Oil & Gas industry
• Class 3 Driving Licence required
