Technician (Heavy Equipment Industry/Construction) - Growth-Minded Organization

• Position : Technician (Heavy Equipment Industry/Construction)
• Location : Gul Circle
• Working hours : Monday - Friday 8am to 5:15pm
• Salary (commensurate with experience) : Up to $3500 + Performance Bonus + 14 Days to Max 21 Days Annual Leave – (Incremental 1 day every year)
• Duration : Permanent
• Industry : Industrial Equipment Supplier

Main Responsibilities:

• Perform inspections, maintenance and repairs on cranes, hoists, and other material handling equipment at varied customer locations, as directed
• Perform a general customer review upon completion of any work
• Document findings and make corrective recommendations to the customer, while bringing all safety concerns to the customer’s immediate attention.
• Generate sales leads and improvement opportunities
• Complete service reports and other required documents and submit them in a timely manner and in accordance with established guidelines
• Maintain all company issued equipment, vehicles, and assets in a safe and proper working order
• Operate tools, equipment, and vehicles in a safe and responsible manner. Notify supervisor of any deficiencies for immediate resolution
• Follow all established safety rules and regulations, including those established by the customer
• Report all hazards, incidents, injuries, and safety observations in accordance with legislation and company reporting procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Diploma / NITEC in Electrical or Mechanical with completion of apprenticeship
• Minimum 2 to 3 years' experience in relevant industries
• No experience can apply
